Thank you for the enlightening article. As for this item, please correct me if I’m wrong but I’m afraid it is still highly controversial. First, tablet reading experience enormously differs from e-ink reading experience. The very article you linked to, for instance, mentions the original Kindle along with paper books. Second, the studies you’ve mentioned—and, to be fair, lots of other venues such as HuffPost—are at least 4 years old; they involve small sample groups in different situations with different devices. In short, the relation between e-books and memory is inconclusive at best. Best wishes.
